
The Alpha Eta Sigma Chapter is the 2008 recipient of the Mary Lou Allison Loving Cup Award which recognizes the graduate and undergraduate chapter reporting the most outstanding program. AES reported:
▪ Evidence of pre-planning the year’s activities using goals and objectives
▪ Evidence that activities project the Sigma image
▪ Publicly promoting Sigma activities (e.g., Founders Day, Sigma Week, National Youth Project)
▪ Contributing to the implementation and maintenance of Sigma’s National Programs
▪ Evidence of support to the growth and development of undergraduates
▪ Evidence of support of activities of other Sigma Chapters
▪ Evidence that programs were implemented
▪ Submitting the chapter report and documentation packet by deadline
AES' very own Soror Kharma Lundy and Soror Essence Robinson received the Ollie Green Award and a scholarship, respectively. Congratulations to the Xi Theta Chapter for winning the increased membership award.
