I would like to thank you all that were able to attend our 31st Annual Peanut Luncheon. Our signature luncheon was phenomenal. Our 2010 Golden Rose Recipients were Joan Meyers of Philadanco, Dr. Claudia Curry, Director of the Women's Center at Community College of Philadelphia, and Trudy Haynes, Broadcast Pioneer. Our 2010 Black Rose Recipients were Dr. Tokunbo Adelekan, the Pastor of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Dr. Jamaine Davis, a Higher Education Mentor, and Minister Troy Gore, the Founder of the AAU Basketball Ministry.
Seeing my SoRHOrs dressed elegantly, in that RHOyal blue and gold felt wonderful! The food was tasty, the vendors sold classy items, and most importantly we raised money to provides scholarships to students! If you know a graduating senior that is in need of financial help, please feel free to download the scholarship application. Again, thank you to all sorors, family, friends, Rhoers, and Philos that supported this great event.
