Consider abstinence!
While sex is a healthy, natural part of life, you may want to wait to have sex until you know the person you are with is someone you truly care about and has your best interest in mind. You must share your status with each other.
Use condoms!
Proper, consistent use of a latex or polyurethane condom can prevent transmission of HIV 80-95% of the time. Condoms can also help reduce the risk of acquiring some other STDs.
